Zonta International’s thoughts are with the people of Syria and Turkey in the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes that struck Monday morning and have left more than 11,000 dead and many more still missing. We share the sorrow of the Syrian and Turkish people at the tragic loss of life and the impact these earthquakes will have on the lives and livelihoods of all those affected.
Zonta International encourages our members who wish to support relief efforts to donate to our partners at UNFPA or UNICEF, who are already assisting women and children on the ground.
